SCAI akan kembali menyelenggarakan Roasting Class Advance with Manuel Diaz pada bulan April 2016 serta Post Harvest Management yang kami adakan khusus untuk pelaku hulu atau petani yang akan dilengkapi dengan kunjungan ke kebun kopi. Berikut detail kegiatan :

Post harvest management with Dr.Manuel Diaz (Khusus Untuk Pelaku Hulu/petani)

Biaya   :  Rp 1.000.000,-  (Include Lunch)

Materi yang akan dibawakan oleh Dr.Manuel Diaz pada roasting class 2016 adalah :

  1. New roasting trends in the specialty markets
  2. Green grading and roasting control (moisture, screen sizes, density, processing methods; roasting coffee beans with specific defects: unripe, old, too dry, too fresh, uneven screen sizes, etc.)
  3. Roasting design systems and manipulation of internal pressures (air flow, power and temperature patterns)
  4. Roasting profiles and the development of specific taste profiles (sweet, acidic, complex, intense wood and full bodied)
  5. Roasting for specific extraction methods (roasting for low pressure extraction methods like cold brew or filter extraction, and roasting for espresso and other high pressure extraction methods.
  6. Roasting and grinding (bean development and particle size distribution)
